Image Title: Around NGC 206
Image Description and Details : NGC 206 is a gigantic cluster of young blue stars and a region of star formation located in the southwest arm of the Andromeda galaxy.
Several H2 regions, open and globular clusters, and even little galaxies seen threw M31 are also present in this image (see B version for some of them) taken from two acquisition sessions:
- Halpha data on 08/04/2020 with Newton 600mm f / 6 and Moravian G4-16000 from the Merles observatory (Association Repères Astro - France - Oise)
- LRVB data on 10/15/2017 with RC 500mm f / 8 and Apogee Alta U16000 from the observatory of the peak of chateau-renard (Association Astroqueyras - France - Hautes-Alpes)
The use of large diameter telescopes allowed the star resolution of NGC 206 but also many open clusters located in its region, as well as some details on the many H2 regions present.
There are also a few globular but unresolvable with long exposures.
