NGC 7293 - Helix Nebula

Date image was taken: 12/8/2020

Image Title: NGC 7293 - Helix Nebula

Image Description and Details : Imaged from my backyard observatory. This was imaged through November into mid December. It is very low in the sky for me, reaching a max altitude of 29 degrees so I typically only got 3 hours each night. Luckily it was fairly clear here through November. It was imaged in Ha and OIII with 30 minute subs and at the end in December I was only getting one or two per night. I got some RGB subs at the end for stars but it was already at 18 degrees altitude and they did not work out. So, the stars are from the Ha image. Total integration is 41 hours of 30 minute exposures.

Telescope: AG Optical 12.5" Convergent
Camera: Atik 383L+ mono with Astrodon 5nm Ha and OIII filters
Mount: Paramount MX+
