Image Description and Details: Mars has a rotation period similar to that of Earth, which is 24.7 hours. In this animation we can enjoy a full hour of rotation. We can see its large carbon dioxide ice cap in its northern area, blue areas typical of its thin atmosphere and the clouds over Elysium monts in the central right part, which with movement acquire a certain 3D character that is exciting. It has been worth waiting two years to have Mars closer and to be able to enjoy this wonderful planet.
