Description and Details: Abell 33 - A planetary nebula in Hydra near Sextans. It is also called the Diamond Ring Nebula. The star on the rim, HD 83535, is a 7.2 mag. It is a foreground star and has no relation to the PN itself. Located at a distance of 2700 light-years, the PN is 4 arc-min wide and is quite faint with a magnitude of 13. Imaged from Bortle 8.
