Dark Clouds in Chameleon - V

Image Title: Dark Clouds in Chameleon - V

Copyright: Alejandro Navarro

Date image was taken: March 29, 2025

Location: Atacama desert, Chile

Data Acquisition Method: Personal Telescope Setup

If other selected: The last trip to the Atacama Desert had the mission of capturing this object, which in the past was a failure for me.
Fortunately, the conditions were spectacular, and nothing went wrong.
Not to mention the great company of my colleagues and friends from Astroadictos, who always support and encourage each other when it comes to heading into the desert.
This dense dust and gas form a dark nebula that reminds me of the logo of the metal band Venom is located near the south celestial pole.
