Location: Alpes Maritimes France

Data Acquisition Method: Personal Telescope Setup

Description and Details: This image was acquired using a custom-built T450 F3 “Arp 83” telescope equipped with an ASI 6200 MM camera. The narrowband HOO (Hα–OIII–OIII) mapping technique was employed to highlight the emission regions.

The telescope was pointed toward the supernova remnant known as the Veil Nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The field of view covers only the eastern segment of the nebular structure, which was cropped due to the limited framing capacity of the instrument.

The dataset consists of 7.5 hours of integration in the Hα band and 9 hours in the OIII band, obtained during July 2025 from my observatory located in the Alpes-Maritimes, France. The resulting image reveals intricate filamentary structures where the two dominant emission components are interwoven, providing insight into the shock interactions and ionization fronts within the remnant.
