Description and Details: NGC 7048 is a planetary nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus, approximately 6,000 light-years from Earth. Its intricate shell structure is characterized by a bright hydrogen envelope surrounding delicate oxygen-rich filaments, making it a rewarding target for high-resolution narrowband imaging.

Captured from Novara, Italy, under a heavily light-polluted Bortle 8 sky. Despite the challenging urban conditions, the long narrowband integration reveals the fine internal structure and ionized oxygen filaments of this compact planetary nebula.
