Image Title: NGC7129

Date image was taken: August 20, 2023

Location: Lemnos Island, Greece

Image Description and Details: This is an image of NGC 7129 captured during August from my home in Lemnos Island, Aegean, Greece .

My main goal was to reveal the faint dark nebulae and interstellar molecular cloud surrounding the bright and beautiful reflection nebula.

The nebula itself is rather complex with a lot of structure which is created by the intense light coming from the young open cluster that lives in its core.

Total integration time was 6.25h for luminance data and 2h per RGB filter, pixel scale 0.62"/p.

Equipment Details: Telescope: Lacerta 8" f4 newtonian astrograph

Mount: SkyWatcher EQ6R Pro

Camera: QHY183m

Other equipment: ZWO asi290mm mini guiding camera, PegasusAstro Prodigy Microfocuser, PegasusAstro Indigo OAG, PegasusAstro Indigo Filter Wheel, PegasusAstro LRGB 2" Filters
