Image Description and Details: In Vela constellation, this HII region is ionised by the O7.5 V star CD-43 4690 and 3 B-class stars. RCW 35 appears to be located at a similar distance as Vela OB1 and is in the same direction as the complex of reflection nebula called Bran 196a-c.
