Image Description and Details: This image was captured from a very small town with a Bortle 2 sky. I used a portable small refractor setup with OSC camera. The star Rigel with its dazzling luminosity brings some challenges in processing, I tried to keep the dynamic range to be able to show most of the subtle structures without taking away too much of the spotlight from Rigel.
In the field you can see a dozen galaxies including NGC1797 and NGC1720.
