Cepheus and Cygnus

IMAGE TITLE: Cepheus and Cygnus

DATE IMAGE WAS TAKEN: July 08, 2023

IMAGE DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS :

This is a major upgrade to an image I published nearly 2 years ago. It shows all the nebulosity around the constellations of Cepheus (top left) and Cygnus (bottom right). There are many well known nebulae in this picture. To list just some, Bubble, Lobster Claw, Cave, Apple, Lion, Elephants Trunk, Bat and Squid, North America, Pelican, Butterfly, Crescent, Tulip. See if you can find them all. The image is a mosaic of over 100 images taken at focal lengths of 85mm, 135mm and 530mm through H-alpha, SII and OIII filters. Approximately 1000 hours of data was used in the final image.
