Image Description and Details: Mare Crisium is a lunar mare located in the Eastern part of the Moon. It is 556km in diameter and 176,000 square kilometres in area. The floor is almost flat, expect for some dorsa (wrinkle ridges) typical of the basaltic floors of the Moon.
