Description and Details: NGC 1512 is a barred spiral galaxy about 38 million light-years away, glowing with a bright central ring of newborn stars. Its elongated bar helps funnel gas inward, lighting up the core with active star formation—made even more dramatic by its close interaction with the smaller companion galaxy NGC 1510.
