Description and Details: Pillars of Creation – is it possible to capture them reasonably well at a focal length of around 370 mm? That’s the question I’ve been asking myself recently while spending hours imaging Ha, OIII, and SII bands using a color camera and SV220 filters. I separated and averaged the overlapping bands to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. Thanks to collecting many hours of data and applying the 2x Drizzle technique, I managed to recover a solid amount of detail.
