SN 1006 in Lupus

Description and Details: The supernova remnant from AD 1006 in the constellation Lupus features a brighter filament along its northwestern edge. However, the structure remains extremely faint in standard RGB images. Only long exposed Hα filtering reveals the weak shock front and the surrounding background glow in this area.
