Description and Details: IC 1848 (also known as the Soul Nebula, Embryo Nebula) is a diffuse nebula associated with an open cluster of young, hot, massive stars, visible in the constellation Cassiopeia, near the edge of the Camelopardalis. It is one of the areas where star formation is most active.
