Description and Details: Here is Messier 15 (M15), also known as NGC 7078, a spectacular globular cluster located in the constellation Pegasus.

It lies about 33,600 light-years from Earth and has a diameter of about 175 light-years.

With an apparent magnitude of 6.2, it is easily observable with binoculars, and even with the naked eye under a good sky.
