Description and Details: NGC 6992, remnants of a Supernova in the constellation Cygnus, located about 2,400 light-years from Earth. It is a glowing, lace-like filament of ionized hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur, formed by a massive star that exploded 10,000 to 20,000 years ago. structure continues to expand at a massive speed of over 1.5 million kilometers per hour.
