Image Title: The Space Waterfall (vdB14 and vdB15) in HaLRGB

Date image was taken: November 03, 2024

Location (was image taken with remote scope?): Taken with my own equipment hosted in a remote observatory in Northern Spain (Bortle 3).

Image Description and Details: vdB14 (LBN681) and vdb15 (LBN682) are two reflection nebulae in the constellation of Camelopardalis. The whole area is just on the edge of Sh2-202 a large emission nebula (hence all the red Ha). I love the interplay of the Ha with the blue reflection, the dark dust clouds and the resulting pink hues. I've seen it referred to as the "Space Waterfall". I think that's aptly named.

2hrs each of Red, Green and Blue. 6hrs of Luminance and 8hrs of Ha. Total integration 20hrs.

Equipment Details: Taken with my Takahashi TSA-120 (w/ 0.7x 625mm f/5.25) and ASI2600MM.
