Description and Details: IC 63 is a nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia, about 550 light-years from Earth.
It is often nicknamed the “Ghost of Cassiopeia” because of its veiled shapes of gas and dust, which resemble a ghostly apparition.
It lies close to the bright star Gamma Cassiopeiae (γ Cas) (on the left side of the image).
