Description and Details: I'm pleased to have collaborated with Jon Talbot and Dana Patchick on the discovery of faint nebulosity surrounding the cataclysmic variable (CV) ASASSN-19ds, the bluish star located midway between the two bright stars on either side of the nebula. Nebulosity around CV’s is very rare and this discovery was the subject of an academic paper by Dr. Howard Bond, published in the Astronomical Journal https://arxiv.org/abs/2506.11306 . This image was captured on a CDK-24 in Chile with over 55 hours of exposure.
